A history of marine service
The beginning of the work was with ships crossing the Suez Canal, where we buy waste from ships and noticed that not all ships sells waste and thus began thinking in supplies and spare parts in the sense that serve ships crossing the Suez Canal and the ships stationed in the Egyptian ports.
 
Hence the beginning and our dealings with international companies such as (Tideway-SDI) and all that concerns us is that he have the confidence of the captain of the ships and companies. Taking certifications from international companies and this for us is more important than money.
Work continued in the best standards of efficiency, quality and safety until it was selected from among many companies in 1992 to work in the project of deepening the waterway of the Suez Canal Company with the participation of Dedger International N / V and Jandenl until 1994 After that we continue to work agents and suppliers of ships transiting the Suez Canal until 1999, we co-operate in the project Sokhna Port Sokhna dredging costume overcast from 1999 to 2000 between the Union of the three companies:

Servicing Egypt’s first LNG terminal, First Suez Marine operates 3 purpose built, 5,600bhp ASD tugs that provide dedicated escort and berthing services to some of the largest LNG vessels in the world. In preparing for successful execution of this work, First Suez Marine designed and conducted in depth training modules that took into account the unique challenges associated with such large ships approaching a terminal in the extremely harsh and ecologically sensitive environment of the Bay of Fundy. These training modules allowed our crews to understand the unique challenges this terminal poses while also understanding how to leverage the unique advantages and features of the custom built tugs.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS & COMPLIANCE
The Management Systems & Compliance dept. ensures First Suez Marine’s compliance to the national and international legislative and regulatory requirements, and manages First Suez Marine’s Integrated Management System (IMS). As well, the Management Systems & Compliance dept. provides oversight and management of all data management systems, First Suez Marine’s platform for tracking and managing action plans. On a daily basis the Management Systems & Compliance dept. collaborates with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper functioning of all the systems and all of First Suez Marine’s policies and procedures are clearly communicated. 
 
In addition to the above, Management Systems & Compliance is responsible for conducting internal QHSSE audits on vessels and shore facilities, and liaising with external statutory bodies, auditors and charterer’s representatives to facilitate third party audits.

We work closely with governments, port facilities and partner marine companies to detect potential security threats and prevent security incidents. We have designated security personnel onboard our vessels that are certified to the requirements of the International Ship & Port Security (ISPS) Code and fully compliant with the Marine Transportation Security Regulations. We have even taken the proactive measure of introducing a specially trained dog, managed by FSM Corporate Security, to detect prohibited items such as weapons and drugs on board vessels.

When it comes to Health & Safety, First Suez Marine has taken the approach that simply complying with the regulations and maintaining the minimal requirements is not enough. In order to create a true safety culture, and one that influences our employees actions not only on the job site, but at home and in their personal lives as well, we need to go above and beyond the regulations. For this reason First Suez Marine has created a dedicated Health & Safety department that is separate from the Management Systems & Compliance dept. It is the mandate of the Health & Safety dept. to develop and implement health and safety initiatives, such as behavioral based safety programs, awareness and training sessions, personalized health plans, on board vessel visits and other educational programs that enable First Suez Marine to achieve a culture where health and safety is always top of mind and every employee feels encouraged and incentivized to put safety first.
